Enchanted Skies & Petals is not about a fearsome creature guarding a kingdom. This is Waffles, a dragon named by my daughter when she was four years old. Honestly, a dragon named Waffles is exactly the kind of energy I want more of in the world. This painting is about imagination without rules: where dragons can be gentle, flowers can grow impossibly large, and a wonderfully ridiculous name can make a painting feel even more alive.
