Tomorrow Looks Different was painted after one of the biggest turning points in my life.

For years, PMDD had wrapped everything in a heavy, relentless depression. I had lived with it for so long that I started to believe it was simply part of who I was. After my hysterectomy, that weight finally began to lift. The world looked brighter. My mind felt clearer. For the first time in years, I could imagine a future I actually wanted to be part of.

That was when this place appeared in my mind: a winding path, a glowing gazebo, and light spilling through the landscape ahead.

At the time, I thought I was painting a beautiful place. Looking back, I realize I was painting hope. I was painting the feeling of being able to see beyond survival and believe in tomorrow again.

This is the largest landscape I had ever painted when I created it, and it became the beginning of a new chapter in both my life and my work.
