I think we often imagine hope as a dramatic turning point, when suddenly everything is bright and the hard parts are behind us. Most of the time, it is much smaller than that. It is one beautiful moment in the middle of a difficult season, or a little color landing somewhere you did not expect it. It’s proof that darkness can be present without being the only thing that exists.
 
To me, Where the Light Finds You painting is a reminder that you do not always have to find the light yourself. Sometimes, the light finds you.
